Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am using the x-74 on a 2002 996 and I love it.To my mind it is slightly more compliant than the ROW -030(which I had previously)But seems to be stickier overall.I do use the car extensively on the track and it is my daily driver. The car is much lower and looks better.
Leading evidence: 'Use car extensively' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend years, the components fit and work wonderfully' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. I understand that though it isn't recommended for our years, the components fit and work wonderfully.

Why I say that the x-74 is more compliant is based on my track experience after replacing the ROW-030 with the x-74.Gators that used to really disturb the balance of the car no longer do so.It seems that the bump portion of the Bump/Rebound cycle is smooth and that the bedspring portion ala the Crown Vic is gone. There may be some other explanation of why the x-74 is more compliant and still stickier and I would love to hear it!

if you drive a lot on track, i would opt for moton clubsport which i run on a 996c2.

I'll be glad to try!And I am about to talk about something that I don't know alot about. There are 2 components to the movement of a shock/spring unit, the upward thrust known as "bump" and the response down "rebound".In your fathers Oldsmobile or my Dad's Crown Vic the settings for these are very soft, hence the term it rides like a bedspring. On a double adjustable coil over suspension Bump and Rebound are independently adjustable. So one could set Bump really soft and Rebound really hard. The X-74 is not adjustable but is set by the manufacturer and my uneducated guess is that it is set like described above; soft Bump hard Rebound. The other piece of this is of course the sway bars and the RO

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I drive my '2000 C2 coupe year round in Wisconsin USA, and also autocross and track it a lot. I'd like opinions on the best track suspension for my car, considering that I do drive it year round as my only car. (Wife has a van). I'm considering a factory euro sport suspension package RoW MO30: shocks, springs, sway bars bushings, bump stops. Thanks
row 030 is not the BEST track suspension. but considering you want to drive it year round, it's a good compromise. if you are willing to tolerate a bit more harshness, PSS9 is very nice. i had it on a 996c4s and it works very well on street/track combo. if you drive a lot on track, i would opt for moton clubsport which i run on a 996c2. but this is no longer comfortable on street.
Wheel Enhancement has some good setups available. I got my H&R Coilover Kit from TireRack for a good price and I drive my car everyday. I will be getting something even stiffer next time though.
I would go with PSS-9 as a good choice (i am biased, here since my car has them)
Good street/Track comprimise (which is what you are asking for)
(2K+)
Other options -
Higher end - Moton Club sports - custom spring rates to match (5K+)
Track only-
(10K+ price range)
Moton 2 or 3 way
Protrac 3 Way
Ohlins (15K+) and some others
I also have a '00 and will look at the X74 from Gert. I understand that though it isn't recommended for our years, the components fit and work wonderfully.

I would suggest that you see if you can find some local owners that have the various suspension set ups you are considering so you can see now they ride in the real world to you. The street and/or track set up is going to a be compromise and you have to decide what side of the compromise you want to settle on. Additionally, the perception of what is tolerable for a daily driven street car depends on each individuals perception. What one person think is harsh may be just fine with someone else and vice versa. Also road conditions play a big part of what is ok for the street.

I have X74 on my 98 996. So far only hapiness. Fells just like my uncle's 2001 GT3 but with 60hps less... I had to go OEM as a request from Porsche Club in Brazil. Maybe PSS9 is a better option ?
