I could not rotate the spokes after it was set without pulling it out and resetting it to get the holes lined up properly.

After refinishing the two pieces of the wheel assembly separately I taped and died each thread and screw. The resulted in a clean thread engagement when reassembling the wheels. When placing the spokes in the wheel the fit was precise. I could not rotate the spokes after it was set without pulling it out and resetting it to get the holes lined up properly. Torque for each screw was around 12 ft pounds. I got this value from a fellow Rennlister who posted the link on my other tread. Note the close-up shot and the small dots on the screw heads. This is to give some indication down the road if the screws are backing out. Here a few shots of the wheels finished.

you car is exactly the way i want mine to look. i'm have a taco tail now but no mk 1 skirts. i'm getting a motorized decklid (hopefully arrive on monday) and i'll have the clean stock look i'm looking for. i have the 5 spoke wheels now, but i think i'd like to have the center powdercoated black. i'll have to look around for pictures of how that would look.
