Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

57 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

So often times we take pics of our car in cool places with cool backgrounds...and everyone loves those. This is for those times when you and a buddy, a group or even a stranger hang for a bit and talk about the passion.........snapped a shot and want a place to share them. The cars parked or driving in an way that shows friendship....love if you will. i took a pick last night of Bruce and my meeting but for what ever reason my camera has really been taking bad pictures?? (horrid colors? will check settings i guess) so i wanted to post a pic of a meeting I had earlier with a good friend....I know its not a 996 but you guys are more like "home" for me and I think we have all gotten over the water/air thing..... Groups of 2 or more...(I like 2 but here...some people like bigger groups) Hope this is funs and you all post some of the pics I know you have, or take a pic knowing you have a place to share....

First DE, but not my last. I'm not sure it's an addiction, though. Don't think I'll have the time or $ to make it a habit. Maybe once a year with the local club... While I'm posting, here's a shot from last month...

all this "talk" about a/c guys and H2O guys arguing about "real Porsche's" doesnt seem to be what I am seeing in the pics, looks like a great blend of each......... I think that is some urban myth!!

Yes- it's a 1968 and I almost bought it back about 2 years ago. When I sold it to my uncle in 1978 the deal was if it ever leaves the family I get first dibs. In the end my cousin decided he just couldn't part with it - I too am glad it is still in the family because who knows, maybe someday it will come back to the fold. Of course, I really enjoy the improvements of the 996, like having heat in the winter and A/C in the summer. Great thread - thanks for starting yet another good one.
