Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

C4SSurgeon also had this but apparently solved it with the addition of the TT front chin spoiler instead of the C4S one.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All: Last night I got my wing back from the paint shop. Here are my observations. Overall the wing is of great quality. There is some waviness on the top of the blade but not that noticeable. The wing surface was extremely porous thus requiring a bit of extra prep time at the shop. The mounting of the wing to the deck lid was a bit difficult but not terrible. I used the stock wire harness with no jumping of cables for the rear deck lid light. I basically removed the posts that raised the stock spoiler and left the motor in place. Thus the motor will operate but do nothing (thus no light). The wires that went to the spoiler brake light were clipped and tied off, once again no errors. The car has some buffeting above 80mph. C4SSurgeon also had this but apparently solved it with the addition of the TT front chin spoiler instead of the C4S one. I really love the look. It is the perfect compliment to the car and I think Misha did one heck of a job on this. Here are just a few quick pictures.

POST 2Original post

Tim, It turned out beautiful. That's what I should have done with the spoiler light, just fill it in. There is a wire harness for the stock aerokit I that does not use a light at all, but your fix worked great. I picked up the chin used from one of the turbo guys on another forum, sunset porsche can get it for you for 219$, it really stabilized my car alot! Now when you hit it, you're at 100mph and it feels like 70. What wheels are those, they look ****(sorry, a southern term). Funny, your street/culdesac looks just like mine, damn builders!

POST 3Original post

The GT2 wing is the best looking wing for the Widebody.
