Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Yes, you can move the A/C/heater panel. Post #5 in thhis thread will show you the lower position, which is where most guys will put if they choose to move it. The reason for this is because the "surround" plate that Porsche makes will fit only in the lower pisition. The middle position, as shown in post #16, is unusual because he had to make a custom panel to accommodate that position.
gota911, the uper position did reguire a custom panrl. However the placement makes it easer to get to for A/C adjustment with no interference form the shifter.
Mike - there is no question that if you have to move the AC/heater unit down that the "middle" position you have is more accessable than the lower position.
I just wanted to make sure that

knew that the middle position was not a "standard" location, and would require some custom work.
