Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Any 2003 996 drivers out there with black interior want new seats?
I've made some calls and unfortunately my vehicle was not part of a nation wide recall for some of the seats that were produced in late 2002.
I'd be willing to make all arrangements for the service call and etc. provided that I get so swap my black "less than perfect" seats from my 996 before the recall center's appointment.
PM me if you'd like me to check you vin number for you....
Must be in the So. Cal area.....

Um...I think the whole point of the recall is the seats they are dangerously defective in the case of hard collision. So if you take those seats, you're endangering yourself and passengers. Supposedly a cross brace in the seat could snap and poke through the front of your seat...aka human shish-kabab.
I've looked around a bit and thank you for the recommendation but Los Angeles Dismantler has really been no help to me. . . . They always need to check with their sales manager before giving you prices and when they do they are roughly around 70% of retail. . . .
Not the big break I'm looking for right now....
I really appreciate your input! Thanks,
-Eli
