Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently installed Pss9 on my 2002 C2. I've noticed that whenever going up a steep driveway, even at slow speeds, the front springs seems to slightly bounce and make a snapping sound. Nothing too dramatic, but definitely notice it and can hear a sound too. That's probably not the best way to describe it, but seems like the springs are almost popping??? Doesn't seem like its possible. But i've only noticed it when going up upward angled driveways. Has anyone else experienced this with there Pss9 or did my installer not put it in properly. Thanks for you help

POST 2Original post

I'd have your PSS9's checked. It sounds like something is binding or catching on something, which shouldn't happen. Steep driveways will compress your suspension more than they would during normal daily driving. You should discuss this with your installer, recheck the installation, check clearances, etc.

Check out the following thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...threadid=92941 It should not be making the noise you describe.
