Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone out there do the self dim interior mirror retrofit/install? I've gone through the TSB, and it's pointing to install two wires in the relay carrier bridge plug in sockets 11 and 28. I have a copy of the 2002 C2 Cab relay pinout, but my 2004 C2 Cab has a different setup than shown. Anyone out there have the 2004 relay pinout schematic? Only need to hookup the black/orange wire and brown wires.(TSB mentions BS16/2 and BS11). Reverse wire is covered. I'm guessing they are just being hooked up to an ignition powered circuit? Currently sockets 11 and 28 look like they are setup for relays. Any help most appreciated.

Where do you get the reverse wire from? I need it for my sat nav.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found the article on Renntech for the mirror install. Thanks. As for the reverse sensor wire, I connected it up from under the driver seat. Rather than take everything apart. I was able to take off the fuse panel cover, and snake a wire to the location under the seat. If you have any 14G wire it works great. Start by snaking it from under seat rail, forward under the carpet. Tie your wire to it once snaked and pull through. You can then run it anywhere you want. There are several wires visible under the seat: Black with Blue strip. I grabbed one of these, pulled slightly out, then with a soldering iron, burned off the insulation and soldered the wire on. With the seat all the way back, had enough room. Next a simple coat of liquid tape, and was done. Took about 10 minutes. The right way would have been to pull seat, etc. but didn't have the right socket and wasn't going to pay the dealer several hundred. Works great.

So the blue/black wire is easily visible. Is there anything in the way of it?
