Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I haven't thought much about the supposed front and rear unit that the car came with but we are heading down to Atlantic City in a little while and I thought it would be nice to use the unit.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone recognize these controls (and how they work?): I haven't thought much about the supposed front and rear unit that the car came with but we are heading down to Atlantic City in a little while and I thought it would be nice to use the unit. When I turn it on it does the usual quick beeping sounds you would expect but then it just keeps beeping intermittently. The only other clue I can give is that when I turn the back **** one way the led turns yellow and the other way it turns green. Any thoughts at all TIA Jeff BTW, please excuse the dust it's the maid's day off

POST 2Original post

That's a K40. Green = Highway, Yellow = City...I think.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Based on the website docs I think that's it! Thanks!!!! Now I just to figure out why it constantly beeps and why the volume switch seems to not be working... Jeff

POST 4Original post

I got an old radar detector but these days with all the gsm antennas around it is far from acurate and bleeps every 10 seconds. Are the new ones mroe intelligent?
