Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The joyriding will upset you for sure, but I am talking about things like the e-brake handle linkage being installed incorrectly, missing bolts, ect.

And going in to get your Cats replaced under warranty and suddenly having a bad oxygen senser after that , and them saying that they won't fix it, it's up to Porsche to *** it, but it's out of warranty.

You mean like how the rear cross-member bar fell off my car 10k miles after my clutch was replaced / 3k miles after the last major service at the dealer?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

that the Porsche dealership does not always do the best work. I have had stuff taken apart on multiple occasions and noticed that the previous work done at the dealer was not done to my standards. The more work I do myself the more I realize that nobody will take care of my car as well as me. It is discouraging that the impression by most is that the dealership does superior work and I am finding the exact oposite to be true. Has anyone else had this experience.

Yeah, I've noticed....
I've noticed some things as well. Tires pressures are off, lug nuts are off. They overspray all over the door sills when they are lubricating the seals and door hardware. I have even come back and my interior is covered in dust. Leave the car with them with 3/4 tank and its only has half a tank when I pick it up.
The joyriding will upset you for sure, but I am talking about things like the e-brake handle linkage being installed incorrectly, missing bolts, ect. Things that just should not be happening at a dealer that charges $125 per hour labor. What a joke!
Found hose clamp loose on air intake hose after minor yearly service. Also tire pressure way low all around when i know it was OK before they touched it. Makes you wonder how people make out that don't check things out themselves. I guess you shouldn't expect that much for a $500 OIL CHANGE.
And going in to get your Cats replaced under warranty and suddenly having a bad oxygen senser after that , and them saying that they won't fix it, it's up to Porsche to *** it, but it's out of warranty. Does anyone know if you have to remove the oxy sensors to replace the cats?
I have had good luck with my dealer. The job is always done right. I did notice a 20+ miles were put on the car. I suppose the tech was test driving the car to locate a squeak that he couldn't replicate. Maybe he was getting some cigarettes or lunch too.
when I had my simple hernia operation, they forgot to close a blood vessel and I had to be rushed back into the operating room with an internal bleeding......I don't understand that if they ask sooo much money..for any "operation" --car or human-- they don't put more effort (pride) into their work!!
If I would deliver my clients bad images..they will come back to me!! But it seems that the bigger the company the less they care!! I am using an independent....isn't much cheaper, but he is a Porsche freak..and I hope this helps..until now no problems (knock on wood!)
Eventhough since he changed my steering wheel it makes a sqeewking noise when I turn into a corner with my signal light on!
