Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Wonderful C4S, and I also recommend the clear side markers.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I may have missed you because i'm still getting used to driving the car!
Okay - here are the pics I promised earlier... hopefully this now works...
2003 Carrera 4S, 46,000KM (i think 22,000 Miles?), had all the options I wanted
Interior:
And of course, my one true love:
Hope that does the trick...
Cheers,
Mo
Thorin,
That's a beautiful car. As you might be able to tell, I'm partial to the C4S. I like that leather steering wheel cover, and it looks like you have a very nice set of options on that baby. If you get some clear side markers on it, they will look just right with your colour.
My C4S just turned over 41,000 km on Saturday. Welcome to the club.
Wow....gorgeous ride....but I too am biased. You got my twin car...well kind of...mine is one year older. I have clear markers now...GET THEM ASAP....looks soooo much better.
Enjoy that car.
Best,
J
You can get them from eric at
www.bumperplugs.com
. He's a member here. It will take just a few minutes to swap out the lights. Inexpensive and easy mod. Have fun!!
J
Thanks J - I think I'll order up a set right now. Also, I noticed you don't have a front license plate - is that legal in NYC? I would love to take mine off too, but not sure what the situation is here in Ontario...
Congrats on a beautiful C4S! I think I recognize your car though. Did you get it from MVL? If yes, I might have seen you driving around in it and even waved at you; can't really miss another C4S with PSE coming the other way!. Make sure you pop by on Sat to our weekly GTG behind the Starbucks across from Sherway Gardens. Go to the Canada forum for more info and pics.
Thorin,
Yes, Port Moody, BC. And like JBRipps mentioned, I got mine from Eric. Such a simple mod, and such a big difference. Regarding the front license plate, don't get me wound up on that one! It's a pain, but I decided to ruin the look of the front bumper rather than cough up the dough that the gendarmes will require out here. I doubt that it slows me down much! I've driven a bunch in Ontario, and don't remember seeing anyone without a front plate there. There are lots of Ontario guys on the board, so chime with any local knowledge.
pongobaz - yes, I got my car from MVL just last week. Where did you see me? I may have missed you because i'm still getting used to driving the car! Where do you live in the GTA? I'm up in Markham... I'll be there saturday - My name is Mohan.
Hi Mo,
I live on the west side of the city down by the lake. Thought I saw you in my area today. Maybe it was another seal grey C4S from MVL... if that's the case then this area just keeps getting better!
Look forward to meeting you on Sat...you'll see that it's a pretty nice bunch of guys there.
Wonderful C4S, and I also recommend the clear side markers. Especially for the colour of your car, they look great. You might get an idea from the following pic (sorry for the poor angle).
Don't like it especially the colour, c'mon get with the program and be adventurous, boring .... JK
Nice ride you got there, definately I see mod's to be done (i.e. alum pedals, alum gauge rings, paint the car yellow...ooops sorry, my brain is on overdrive right now).
Again nice car and welcome
Hi,
Yes...I run without my front plate. I got bumper plugs from Eric too....they look great. It is illegal here, but I drive my car every day, and I know a ton of cops, so I'm hoping that if I get stopped, I won't get my chops busted, but so far so good.
I carry the front plate under the passenger seat, and if I get stopped, I'll just say I'm waiting on the bracket and show the plate....maybe that will work too. If I start racking up tickets....I will put it on, but it really does mess up the smooth lines in the front.
One more thing....if you don't have the short shift kit.....go ahead and order one from Eric....he's got the best price I know of. The B and M.....a world of difference. Do some research on that. I'm telling you first hand that it is ridiculous.
J
Lovely 4S in Seal. Enjoy it. Hate to say it, but I got my clear side markers from Brandywine (see recent thread) and paid them $30 for the pair - as promised. They're a snap to switch out. Something bad has happened at B'wine within the past few months, no question.
