Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A 986/996 Market Update. Not entirely cheerful, but a rational, balanced discussion of the car's issues, and some interesting trend data on values. You could quibble with the numbers, but the rate of decline seems clearly to be plateauing. Worth a trip to the 7-11.

POST 3Original post

Hey Newport, How'd you like having Bob C. as a backseat passenger?

POST 4Original post

LOL....I didnt mind....I think he was a little more uncomfortable than I was...lol...

POST 5Original post

Why was there a man in your backseat.... Was your car in that mag?

POST 6Original post

That's Newport driving the test vehicle (C4S Targa) of the article in the Sept Excellence. The author (Bob Chapman) took the pic.

POST 7Original post

Nice, good for you newport, was was the test for? Was it a new C4S? If they were smart, Newport, they would have had you drive AND take the pics.......

POST 8Original post

newport is pretty good, but I think he would tell you he's not quite yet at Bob C.'s level of expertise...... http://www.autosportimage.com/photography/

POST 9Original post

Yes I was LEARNING that day.....Bob C is the master.....It was the 997 Targa 4S...and that is a SWEET car!!!!!

POST 10Original post

You could have hit the barbershop before taking pics, man.

POST 11Original post

Newport, The back of your head is a good enough reason for me to pick up a copy!!!!

POST 12Original post

Sweet pic newport. I second the targa 4S comment. My dad just picked one up and it is very, very nice (even though I have not really opened it up yet in deference to the 2k mile break in "rule").

POST 13Original post

LOL....Low blow.....I had a hat on all day and it was quite impromtu.....

POST 14Original post

Damn fellas, we have a magazine star among us, who knew!!!

POST 15Original post
