Suggestion

A lot of salesman there seem to know very little, but the guy whose name is listed in that ad, Kurt Houser, had me test drive a used 997S some months ago when I encouraged my brother to look at a Cayman.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys after two PPIs and then having a seller sell a car out from under me I am starting to get a little frustrated. So does anyone know anything about this 01 TT at Momentum Porsche? I know they are asking way too much but that is not what I am going to pay. The salesman said it is a clean car with just some minor paint work done to it. Can anybody confirm or deny this??? FYI, I don't think the car is on the lot anymore. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...rs=&max_price= Thanks to anyone that can help zoo

POST 2Original post

I don't. I did buy a car from Momentum - 2000 C2 for the wife - a number of years ago. The guy selling me the car knew less about it than my wife. He also could not drive a stick. After dumping the clutch twice real hard in the parking lot (around 3800 rpm, side step the clutch, bit of wheel hop), and then killing the engine, the wife said - now I am sure I don't want this red one. Have you ever driven the Basalt Black one? A: No. Wife: Great, show that one to me, and I will drive it out of the parking lot. My conclusion - those guys in the used section don't know much about P's.

A lot of salesman there seem to know very little, but the guy whose name is listed in that ad, Kurt Houser, had me test drive a used 997S some months ago when I encouraged my brother to look at a Cayman. Very nice and knowledgeable guy.
