Ummm - if you send me the car and I send you a check for $111,320, any chance of you holding off cashing it for - oh, let's say - about 10 years???

However, I would want to test fit before going out and buying a set.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have some leads on a couple of GT3's... love to hear some opinions as optioned...
#1
Speed yellow/black
painted sport seats
seat crests
xenon
cruise
ac
#2
Speed yellow/black full leather <--- on edit
painted wheel crests
thicker wheel
lowered seats
PCCB
yellow belts
AC<---- on edit
I am not planning on taking it to the track, just use it as a weekend warrior. Is the PCCB a worthwhile option? I have read such conflicting reports on it that I am just not sure. Car #2 is about $7,000 more than car #1.
Regards...
or buy mine in carrara white [saw SY side by side with CW this weekend, white is much better on the narrow body, while i prefer speed yellow on the gt2] with xenon and the correct PCCB.
yours for window

Well, thanks for all the suggestions. Despite it all, I think I will choose car #2. After living with the basketball vinyl in my 99, I really want the leather as I really think it is a step up for the interior. I have yet to read anything definate about the PCCB, but not an up I would want to try later on. Point aside, I plan on keeping this car for a long time and I really want to keep it as original as possible... except for window tint and a clear bra... perhaps a GT3 console and GT3 seats... maybe some CF... the xenons would be a nice up too... hmmmm.
The final deal is still pending, I guess we shall see what happens.
Watt - this is almost too good to be true....
I have a terrific Anderson double-pane thermal 6'x5' Bay Window I'm ripping out of the living room. Please send me your shipping address and consider your car "sold" in exchange for my window!!!!...
(Wonder if Jen will notice the HUGE HOLE in the wall before or after she notices your old/my new car in the driveway???
Hey Watt..!!!
Yea - I know it probably was one of my worst ones
BUT - I couldn't help myself....
Ummm - if you send me the car and I send you a check for $111,320, any chance of you holding off cashing it for - oh, let's say - about 10 years???
Best to you Watt..!!!
Seriously - good luck selling your car..! I wish I could even dream to afford it... It's stunning.....
As Don said, Xenons are a must. Do not get a Porsche without Xenons. Granted you will be using this car as a weekend warrior, the Porsche looks outdated without some nice Xenons up front. But the 2nd one has so many options that can happen aftermarket---the yellow belts and the painted crests. Also you do not need to keep the stock pleather seats, go for the leather GT3 Seats. Just my opinion
Well I think I struck a deal on car #2. I figure it would be far more expensive to upgrade later to PCCB's as opposed to upgrade to the Xenons and paint the console and seat backs. I also really look foreward to having full leather as opposed to the cheap plastic of my early 99. The only thing that I wish it had is the cruise control... I guess I can suffer. I am really trying to resist the temptation to do any major mods. The only things I have planned are clear side markers, window tint, clear bra, bumper plugs, and GT3 console.
The worst thing about the deal (aside from the kick in the nut$ trade in value) is that the C2 leaves tomorrow for the dealership. The GT3 is still on the boat and will not be ready for delivery till after I return from my visit to Leipzig for the CGT. I very much enjoyed the C2 and I hope that whoever purchases it enjoys it as much as I have.
" A/C with Full Climate Control" is no charge option #573 for US GT3s but if you don't order it this is what your dash will look like (and you won't have A/C):
Sloth,
Per chance are you going to be in Leipzig August 24-26, if so, let's arrange to meet. I'm scheduled there on Monday 25th, and planning to stay an extra day.
By the way, PCCBs are a must (IMO).
Yep. One of the guys from Brumos, my father, and myself are all going to be in Leipzig on the 25th. I think our CGT day is scheduled for Tuesday. Shoot me an email and we can see about meeting up.

Thanks for the dash photo. I just checked and saw that my car does have option 573... AC with auto climate control. Very important in S. FL., as I am sure you know.
I know...I say that now and I said that about the C2 also. I might have to "attend" a PCA DE event to blow out the cobwebs one day. Till then I will stick with the track cars.
No need for sport seats, need GT3 seats... However, I would want to test fit before going out and buying a set.
I thought so, that car would feel miseraqble w/out real drives every now and then.
Try GT3 seats, you'll love them (I have Sparco Pro's but I've tried GT3s)! They hug you well and keep ypou planted. Plus you shave quite a bit weight off!
