I replaced the small parking/daytime running light today on the 996. After I plugged it back in and re-installed the housing, none of the lights on that side work? They were fine before I removed the housing. What did I do? Thx..

Take it out, check that the plug connector inside the wing at the back of the headlight tray hasn't popped out of place. Check the pins aren't bent also. Check the pins in the back of the light. Try refitting.

Did you accidently move the light switch to the parking position so only one side is lit up? A quote from page 71 of the owners manual states. Only when the ignition key is withdrawn. Pull switch out slightly in position "0" and turn to parking position left. or Parking position right. and the Parking lights and side marker lights are lit on the selected side.

the leveling motor powers up, but, can't get the lights to work. might be that the stationary connector comes loose from it's housing as I am sliding the headlight into place. tried taking it in and out like 10 times, no luck yet... argh....
