Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Read the service manual and seem to be missing something. The headliner plate that slide with the sunroof disconnected the other day. I did the slide the panel forward to reinsert to the front but it seems to not be attaching to the rear of the sunroof. Hence I tilt open the sunroof and the headliner panel stays down at the back so that there is no air passage. I guess it could have something to do with the snap I heard before looking up to see the liner was down maing me think the sunroof mech broke and fell down. Anybody got a simple way to understand reengaging the headliner panel and what might of happen to get the failure?

POST 2Original post

My Sunroof is rattling the hell out of me. Bloody irritant! If i had a choice, i would not have taken the car with a sunroof.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The headliner panel isn't a tight fit so it seems it can move around giving the rattling. Worse yet there are metal parts on the panel on the sunroof side so I guess thats a good source of rattle. The rear section between panel and sliding roof has three foam rubber triangle pads. That at least keeps some rattling away.

POST 4Original post

Hallo Everyone. Having an odd little problem with my 02 C2. My sunroof headliner has become un-attached at the rear on the sunroof. It slots into two clips at the front, but nothing else is holding it in place. I cannot see how this liner attaches to the rear of the sunroof! Help?
