Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For those of you in Palm Beach, Martin, and maybe even greater south Florida who may be looking for someone to service your street as well as race cars, Orbit Racing is now getting serious about street car service. I was looking for someone to do some work on my 996 C4 cab, which has taken up permanent residence in Florida. Since their location was handy to me (right off Beeline Highway near the Turnpike, quite near the Veterans Hospital), I drove over there last April and met Roger Hawley, who is pretty familiar to serious racers. Last week, I took the car to them for tires, and to check out a problem that Braman told me didn't exist. They were professional, thoughful, and a pleasure to do business with, and they found and fixed the problem that the dealer was too lazy to deal with. Everything was completed on time and in one day, and because they are a race shop and used to dealing with knowledgeable people, you get straightforward info with no BS. Mike Hazel is the service manager, ex of Champion, and is a very helpful and friendly guy. Orbit's racing reputation is well known, but I would highly recommend them for street car service as well. As a bonus, there is always something in the shop that's worth seeing! All standard disclaimers apply- I have no affiliation witht his company except as a satisfied customer, and thought fellow Rennlisters in Florida might be interested. Cheers!
