They are in very good condition, used for street - probably only have 2-3 k miles on them.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
I have a set of 996 Porsche factory Sport Design wheels, that I have used on my RSA. What are these worth??? They are in very good condition, used for street - probably only have 2-3 k miles on them.

You can upload the picture to a free uploading site if you don't already use something like smugmug or pbase (if you want to join smugmug, I can give you a coupon code to save $5). A good free uploading site is
www.imageshack.us
. Then copy and paste the URL for the image and put after the url.
If they are in good condition you can probably get $800 - $1,400 for them on E-Bay (Wheels only). If you sell them with tires you may be able to add as much as $300-$500 to those prices.
Thanks all. Esp Ray- that give me the range that i thought they were in, but was not sure.
I am selling w/o tires, they have been removed. I guess I could put them back on , but may not be worth it.
Thanks!!
Hey E911, how bout going to the "wheel enhancement" website and match the wheels up with the poster they have on their page, then we can give you a pretty good valuation.
E - First of all, you do NOT have to be a paying Rennlist Member to post pics here.
Second, here are my "can't miss" post-a-pic instrucrions. These instructions have NEVER failed to help even those that are "computer challenged," so the pressure is on you to keep the sucessful string going.

First, are you sure they are 996 wheels? The only 17" wheels were not sport design wheels. They were 17x7.0"/17x9.0" twist wheels. Sport Desing are the lace and narrow spoke 18" wheels. If they are 7" & 8' wide, you are probably referring to the orignal cup style wheels that came on the RSA. Narrow are expensive or hard to locate used.
My mistake - they are 2002 996 10 spoke 17" ( 7 &9)
I don't think these are twists and I know they are not cups wheels - I have a few os those...
I am asking because a buddy has offered to taken them to the Hershey Swap Meet .
Just trying to get an idea of there value .
Thanks to all.
