I just tried 35/39 on an '01 C4 cab. Rides better. Cannot tell any handling difference from 36/42 I was running before. I'm not tracking or DEing the car though.

36/40. With 19" wheels and rubber-band tires, inflating any higher makes the tires too bouncy.

Comparing tire pressures is silly imo unless you have the exact same suspension/tires/model/driving style. I would recommend playing with the pressures and see what suits you. There is no one magical number that will reign supreme and there is no right or wrong when it comes to this.
