Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's my understanding the 40th anniv. 911 came standard with sport seats painted in carrera Gt silver. Yet my dealer has two cars without sport seats what am I missing ? Their is also one on e bay which appears to not have the painted sport seats?

POST 2Original post

you could get the "comfort seat" option, power seats with memory, to replace the standard sport seats.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Alfie, did sport seat backs come painted as standard or was that an option?

POST 5Original post

My 40th Anniversary 911 came with the power comfort seats with memory. My initial impression is that they are not as comfortable as the seats in my e46 M3 that I traded in to get into my dream car. I'll have a better feel for it in a few months when they break in.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In your respective opinions how much ,if any doe's it reduce the value of the car to not have sport seats?

POST 7Original post

Im not sure it reduces it at all, though I prefer the sport seats myself.

POST 8Original post

Since the seats are an OEM option, I doubt they would change the cars value down the road. This of course is difficult to predict as a cars perceived value depends on how much a person is willing to pay for it. Who knows what this will be down the line. I personally don't care because I intend to keep this car until I can't shift anymore.
