Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have 2002 C2 that I want to change brake the fluid on. I will be doing a few DE events this year and some autocrossing. What is a good fluid to go to or should I stay with the original Porsche fluid? Should I change brake pads, or keep the stock ones? Can track pads be used on a daily driver, or are they too noisy/harsh on rotors? Car will still be driven mostly as a daily driver when weather clears up here in the east coast. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

I have usually seen ATE fluid recommended, decent price, good boiling points etc and you can switch between the blue and gold to see when to stop bleeding. there is a pagid S dark blue pad which is ok for both street and track , but you will get squeeling which may bother you on the streets. you could easily switch pads for track events though.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
