Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2002 996 C2 Coupe. 36 k miles. Silver black, 6 speed, sport seats. Carrera lightweights. Ask price$69,000.00 Negotiated price:$60,000.00 Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Steve

POST 2Original post

doesn't sound like the greatest deal in the world. the kelley blue book trade in value of this car is 45k. I would suspect the dealer bought it for a little more than that or maybe around there. I wouldn't pay more than 50 - 55k at most for that car. But then again that's just my opinion. I just bought 3 sports cars in the past year and sold one of them... I base everything on trade in value because with the internet these days you can get the car for roughly around that price. especially on ebay. also try checking autotrader. Since the car is still under factory warranty (isn't it?) I wouldn't really worry about buying it from a dealership because they only mark up the price 'cuz of costs and reputation. What exactly are you asking anyway? are you asking if you're getting a good deal or asking how to negotiate? http://kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.ur?kb...911&3;PS;A1&&&

POST 3Original post

Expensive!!! I found a 03 C2 with 4k miles, Silver on Black, 6 speed, sport seats, carrera lighweights, xenon, PSM, Bose, H&R suspension, flared rockers, painted rear console, carbon shifter and e-brake, clear side markers for $68k and it is negotiable.

POST 4Original post

BTW I found a Brand new 03 C2 at the showroom with those option for $68k

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

NJ-GT, Was that the sticker price on the 03? If it is could do well on a new one. Thanks

POST 6Original post

I sold a '02 C2 a few months ago, and IMHO, that price is way too high.
