Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm pretty conservative and changed pad before a DE last year that would definitely survive a couple days {at least!}.

Suggestion

If you are going to put used pads on a different used rotor, there could be some minor bedding issues but I still don't think this will be a problem.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is it cool to reuse a set of pads? I'm pretty conservative and changed pad before a DE last year that would definitely survive a couple days {at least!}. I want to use them now, but is it bad to reuse a set of pads that have already gone through a bed in process on different set of rotors?

POST 2Original post

It is common practice to bed new rotors with used pads and vice versa. If you are going to put used pads on a different used rotor, there could be some minor bedding issues but I still don't think this will be a problem. Karl
