Any thoughts about the 40th anniv. model. i have been debating about going for it. i like the extra HP, and the other proposed options. does the board feel that an anniversary edition will hold its value better. it really wouldn't matter to me either way , if i take the plunge the pleasure will be in driving it as much as possible anyway.

Anniversary editions don't hold their value in the short run any better than regular cars. In the long run, the difference is so small it's more a token. With the special buy price for the special edition, you may actually lose more money in the end. As far as HP, it is most likely a precursor of things to come. Price is probably not that much changed from a regular Porsche with the powerkit. I'll take the GT3 over the special edition anytime.

I think it's a nice package, very different from the last Millennium edition which was all show. I really like it a lot, but I'll wait for the 997.
