Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Anyone have experience with this product? I've seen guys reccomend the GT3 short shifter, but it's well over $400. The factory shifter is rather sloppy (at least mine is at 69K miles). Thanks for any input. http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...%252C%2520Each

POST 3Original post

I put in a used 997 shifter that had 30K miles. Transformed the shifting at a low cost. Easy to change with the instructions in this forum. Should cost less than $150 for a used one when 997 owners put in a short shifter. I really did not like the 996 shifter...vague. 997 stock shifter reduces the shift by 15-20% but it is much more precise. Amazing improvement from my 100K stock shifter.
