it works now but if you use the google toolbar with popup blockers it hoses it up for some reason.

Yeah...well, sounds like no one is paying attention...trust me, if they could make money on it, it would be fixed. Car configurators are a database nightmare.

I don't know why anybody here even bothers using the Porsche configurator. That thing represents the colors of the cars about as good as a poorly made cartoon. And it's been that way at least a year now as I tried using it last year prior to buying my car. Junk.

What is your browser? Are you using Mozilla or Internet Explorer? I use Firebird from the Mozilla group and sometimes certain web sites do not respond correctly. I must fire up IE and then they will work. It is bad programming on their part, since they only program to work on M$oft products... Let us know. Lou

I get it to work just fine. But 'fine' is a relative term. Fine today means comparing it to a few years ago. More reasonable images, but still screwy website work. You click certain options and get errors that they conflict when they really don't, others that don't when they really do, wrong pricing (mats are listed at $95, they are MSRP $115 in order guide), etc. No one is really paying too much attention to this feature at Porsche.com, or it would have been fixed and fixed long ago. Shame on Porsche. It's not something that could not be easily fixed, IF they cared about it. It's obviously not a priority for anyone. Too bad.

it works now but if you use the google toolbar with popup blockers it hoses it up for some reason. Same with a few other popup blockers. I shut all of them off and the page worked surprisingly.
