Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hi all,
heading to the 24 this year. for those of you who've been - whats the trick? is the Advance Paddock Tag ticket the way to go?
whast the best way to do this event right?
thanks!
Yes, get the 4 day pass if you can. Was there last year and 3 years ago... Usually stay by the beach, about a 15 minute ride. Usually arrive Fri am and watch the historics and hang out by the pits. We do the pits on race day and then cross over to the other side over track to watch start. You can come in/out to grab a bite. Ususally walk the infield Sat eve and Sun am. Park on the outside on Sun and watch race from stands ready for an easy exit and back to airport... Last year was a let down since all major players were not there... Replaced by their new series cars... Decided not to go this year, but have some good friends going. Do not miss the Porsche corral in the infield if you are driving. Have fun!
good tips - thanks. sloth - can a lowly 951 run with you guys on your trip to orlando next month? not sure i can go as my damn schedule changes so much, but i'd love to make that trip.

Evan
PS-Deff. JOIN US!!! I am going to be in the S. FL caravan, we are leaving from FVD USA in Pompano Sat. morning!!!!
evan - thanks. i've worked the pits during the nascar race (i'm a cameraman) and even that is really fun. the energy in the pits is amazing. the 24 will be really fun - with or without the hot pits. (although i'll probably end up with press creds, too)
i lurk on the TT list so i've been watching those plans...trying to plan a trip to tampa this coming wknd, the daytona run and the orlando trip, too SOMETHING will work out!!!
thanks - hope to see you soon.
Daytona is fun event. I used to have crew credentials to get me into the hot pits. Still spent most of my time elsewhere as I always felt in the way when in the pits.
Evan, just remember your long sleeves, long pants, and closed toe shoes if your going to be in the pit area... regardless of temps. Which car is FVD sponsoring?
Give Evan a shout if you want to tag along with them to Orlando. Also please try to confirm

Haven't been since the '80's but will second the motion to take warm clothes. It may be Florida, and I'm from Iowa but I've never been colder- it's a damp cold at 39 degrees at 2AM!! If you're staying the whole time you may want to consider ear-plugs- that place is a bowl and you can't escape the noise...
The VERY BEST WAY....
Sponsor a car or cars to benefit a good charity, Like Seattle Children's Hospital.
Teamseattle(.com) won first and second in class, SRPII, last year and we're running two Ford Daytona Prototypes this year. Not to wish the Porsche contenters any bad luck but still hoping for another win, or two, this year.
See you there.
Just another thought for those that might not be staying the full 24hours at the track... If staying in Daytona, do not get a hotel close to the track... if you like sleeping. I stayed about a half mile from the track last year, boy was I glad I had earplugs because the noise would have kept me up all night long.
