Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If it is at a Porsche dealer, certified and clean with those miles; then I would say it would go for $50K with those miles.

I test drove and researched a few cars before deciding on my '03.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After months of searching, I may be pushing the trigger on a 2002 Carrera C2 with 16K miles. It's in very good condition with xenon, bose, PSM, porsche crest on seats, sunroof, suede roofliner, etc.
It's silver/black if that makes a difference.
What's your opinion on how much these car should be selling for?
Depending upon where the car is being sold, the precise condition of the car, whether it's a private or Dealer sale, and whether or not the car is CPO, I'd give a price range of $45K to $52K.
I test drove and researched a few cars before deciding on my '03. I found that most CPO'd 2002's were in the low to mid $50's. Of course, those are asking prices without much haggling.
If the car is CPO'd, you will pay a slight premium over a private sale.
The car is selling through a small 3rd party dealership...it's not CPO but I "THINK"
there is still warrenty left on the car since it's a 02 w/16K miles. I think another 7 months?
If it's been on his lot for awhile, I'm betting that he would accept $48K. Just make certain that a PPI is done before you buy it. There are some Porsche owners that literally beat the hell out of their cars, and then sell them to some poor unsuspecting buyer. I knew one guy who routinely power shifted, and then wondered why his gears were grinding. He of course blamed Porsche for building an inferior product. Porsches are built well, but they aren't indestructable.
I've been on autotrader/cars.com since June. The prices on there seem a bit more inflated then what the market would suggest though. I was wondering from people's experiences what they can be truly had for. Seems that a 02 in excellent condition (I'd give it a 9/10 overall) would probably sell for somewhere in the upper 40s...maybe mid 40s for a good deal.
Man, that is a low price. Check out the car's history carefully, and if the PPI and history check out, you have bought a great car at a very reasonable price.
That's cheap...real cheap. It has 70Kmiles and at least 1 quarter of the body to be replaced. Nicely equipped. Bet it's a salvage or has a story. BEWARE
Wow, this started in June, too funny. This is local to me in Boston, maybe I'll check it out for S&G's. I'm sure, salvage, theft, RMS or SOMETHING has to be wrong with it.
He's listed as K street in Southie.
I'll call the guy tomorrow and post a response
The headliner and sunroof are standard. Most will have Bi-Xenons, Bose and power seats. The 02's have come down a little since they are coming ouot of warranty. When was the car originally sold (in service date)? Is it at a Porsche dealer or somewhere else? Does it have the 15K service completed? Is the Carfax clean, no paintwork or issues?
If it is at a Porsche dealer, certified and clean with those miles; then I would say it would go for $50K with those miles. Many dealers will want more due to the mileage, but I would hold at $50K. Otherwise, high $40's.
I think it's in warrenty until November this year. Not at Porsche dealer...it's at a 3rd party but the previous owner is a Porsche forum member. Has 16K miles so I assume 25K has not been done...what does that consist of anyway?
Carfax is clean...appears to be free of paintwork/issues.
There is no 25K (sorry, my mis-type) service, there is a 15K and a 30K. If it is not a Porsche dealer, then it should be under $50K. Get the VIN and have it run through your local Porsche dealer and they can give you the in service date.
I bought a nicely equipped 02 Targa in Fla with 24k in the beginning of the year. Paid $50k. Car came with 6 months of factory warranty. Found the car on Ebay and had the car checked by Champion P. A great experience especially the drive home to Philly with my daughter.
