Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, Wanted to get some confirmation on a question i have before i bring in some parts for paint. On my window sticker it states i have the small interior package "aluminum look". Does anyone know what specific color this is? I am leaning toward Acrtic Silver, but not sure if it could be something else. I am getting a few pieces painted and wanted it to match exactly what color the existing aluminum painted pieces are. IIRC the paint code for AS is : L92U Anyone have any insight or clarification for me? Thanks! Joey

POST 2Original post

I have never found a paint code for "alumalook", I recall it being close to a BMW color. It is not arctic silver.

Part Superseded to 98655299509746 Centre console, V03 sport silver Part Superseded to 98655299509746 Centre console, 92U arctic silver metallic

POST 4Original post

I did this in "arctic silver metallic " with three coats of clear.

POST 5Original post

The console may be Arctic silver (Mine is) but the U-shaped part at the base of the shifter is Alumalook, as is my e-brake handle and other interior bits. I have a mix of Arctic silver and Alumlook interior and it looks fine.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the help guys. I am looking to do arctic silver on my GT3 belt loops. Hopefully it goes well with the other silver accents in the car. Since they wont be located next to each other i dont think anyone will be able to tell. L92U is the code i should give the paint shop, correct?

POST 7Original post

If anyone wants this I figured I'd lay it out here... I'm doing some accent pieces and will paste them for refrence as well. Aluminum Look Paint is as follows. I am doing some parts and can post a few pics soon... The paint is Spies Hecker.
