Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I picked this up a few months ago after selling my 540i with 6-speed and just love this new car! The previous owner added the smoked corner markers, Schnell cold air kit, B & B headers, and the ATP (AT Italia) 18" rims! One of the factory options is the "030 Sport Group" but I'm not quite sure what all that includes??? Anyway, looking forward to driving it a lot more and to contributing to the site, thanks!
Steve..I thought that was Riads line.......but I too was surprised that a MK1 w/R030 would sit that high. I know is probably ROW M030, if it was on the option list, but still....oh wait....you WERE talking about the truck in the back....nevermind......
The color actually is Metallic Black rather than Basalt Black.
Metallic Black has gold and brown undertones, Basalt, blue.
I believe Basalt replaced Metallic Black.
My 98 Boxster was Metallic Black.
racesx,
To clarify,
If your car lists 030 on the option sticker under the hood, you have US (North American market) M030 sport suspension, which consists of upgraded springs, shocks, and sway bars.
However,
the ride height of the US M030 is the same as the US standard suspension.
ROW (Rest of World markets) M030 was not availabe as an option on US cars.
Here is a very informative article that will explain the technical differences of all three suspensions:

Beautiful car btw!
Welcom Race, great looking machine that you are sure to enjoy. I have an 04 C2 with the M030 suspension and it works well for me, I use it as my daily driver for both local and long distance drives. I really like the feel of the stiffer suspension and the ride is still comfortable enough for a long distance cruise. I just added the smoked side markers, what a nice, simple and inexpensive upgrade, looks good on my artic silver.
Kevin - thanks for the article which gives us a factual understanding of this option! I had "heard" that the 030 lowered the car but I always thought that my car sat the same as a standard C2 and now I know for sure that it does.
Very nice looking car, I have the same color (Metallic Black) and people always ask me if it's basalt black? It has an amazing "gold-ish" shine in the sun.
Welcome aboard
Thanks everyone for the props! And also for the good info. on the suspension .... and color too! I always thought it looked a little "brownish/goldish" in the sun. I get lots of compliments on that color too! Didn't realize that these cars had so many "shades" of black, ha!
Welcome and Congrats! Nice looking car.
Damn, another newbie posted pics right off. I haven't been able to harass a newbie for over 6 weeks and I am going into withdrawal shock! It's getting so bad that I'm st... st...starting to st... st... studder again!
