Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How can I tell if my car is in need of an alignment other than letting the steering wheel go and see if it stays on line and uneven tire wear?

POST 3Original post

If you have no uneven wear, you don't need it.

POST 4Original post

No, you do not need to have an alignment just because you get new tires. If you have never had one on the car,now might be the time to have it checked. A good shop can put you on the machine and check out all 4 wheels and print out the settings for you. I just had my 99 with 45,000 miles on it checked last week and was still fine. I have had several sets of new tires on the car. If you change your suspension by lowering it, you need an alignment.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im getting new tires this weekend so Im going to get the alignment checked out while im at it. My passenger rear tire(Pirelli Pzero) has got some serious defect(bubbles) on it and a nail in it to top it off . Thanks all.
