Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I run a 315 tire and did roll the fender for track use since my car is lowered.
Leading evidence: 'Run 315 tire and did roll the fender' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace offset now' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
The 7mm makes perfect sense because an 11.5" wheel with a ET67 offset and a 7mm spacer changes the offset now to be ET60.

Suggestion
(won't be an issue unless you run a big tire like a 305 or 315).
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

SORRY. SORRY. SORRY!
But I really do need help... It's hard to bite the bullet when you just aren't sure it's going to work...
I'm looking to buy these wheels on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m32
Size: 19 X 8.5" front & 19 X 11.5" rear
Offsets: 55 mm front & 67 mm rear
Tires: 235/35/19 - 305 or 315/30/19
I'm only concerned with the rears, I'm told by this company and Wheeldynamics that they will fit... wheeldynamics told me they would only with 13mm spacers on the rear...
Does these tire sizes and offsets make sense for the NB 996??
By my calculations you will have 21mm less clearance on the inside and the wheels will extend and extra 17mm toward the fender.
IMO, your contact is nuts to tell you to put on a 13mm spacer (you will certainly rub the rear fender with that).
They may just fit without spacers, however I'd guess (only an educated guess as I'm not sure) you'll rub with the tires you describe.
Depending on your suspension set up the I think the fronts may be an issue. I know when I put on my fronts 8.5" ET 49 I barely had much room between the wheel and the lower spring perch. The rears could possibly work w/o spacers. I attached a pic of my 8.5" ET 49 and 11" ET 60 wheels (245/40/18 and 295/30/18).
I didn't even look at the fronts but you are correct. He will have 11mm less clearance for the strut at the front. He may need spacers for the front, but it can be made to work.
FWIW: I think the 1st post is way off base with regards to spacers. The Ebay seller recommends a 7mm spacer not the 13 mm. The 7mm makes perfect sense because an 11.5" wheel with a ET67 offset and a 7mm spacer changes the offset now to be ET60.
Also, I seem to recall typing exactly this before...I have an 11.5" rear with a ET60 offset. I run a 315 tire and did roll the fender for track use since my car is lowered. On the street I didn't think I would have needed to roll the fenders. I drove it around for 2 days trying to and couldn't get them to rub.
On the inside edge of the tire there was a lot of clearance except for the wheel well plastic liner. (won't be an issue unless you run a big tire like a 305 or 315).
Also... the aspect ratio of the rear tire is critical. Since you are on 19s you need something with a 25 or 30 aspect to give you the smallest Outer Diameter possible.
Hey Paul996... makes me feel good as I just bought them last night!!!
I have H&R Sport springs on right now but I'm going to put it back to stock before I fit my new wheels... call me a freak but I like the stock look, it makes the car look too small IMO when they are really, really low... PLUS I'm getting old and it's a long way down to get in... and an even longer way up getting out!!!!
I'm looking at these tires for my set up:
Toyo Proxy T1R size 235/35/19 front and 315/25/19 rears
Will I still need spacers?
