I could have kept the coverage for 6 months and changed providers but I was so upset I immediately canceled coverage and took it one last time in the pants just to let them know I wasn't going to stay with a provider who would do that.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just wanted to ask everyone...... Who do you use when it comes to Auto Insurance? I'm getting my car back soon and I've been a loyal customer of Allstate for some time now but I think they might be a bit high for the regular full-coverage on the 996..... Anyone do any research before making your selection? -Eli

POST 2Original post

How much are they charging you? What kind of coverage, deductable, etc.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I knew someone would ask and I don't remember although I remember that I did a search online and came up with Liberty Mutual at a top contender.... Full-Coverage 500 deduct etc. -Eli

POST 4Original post

i'm in so cal. from my research, mercury was cheapest. fwiw, their customer service on claims has been excellent. far better than they were 10-yrs ago.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the information but I found "I CAN SAY WHO" to be somewhat a PITA. About 5 years ago. They basically made me fill out a TON of paper work when I got to their office and they asked for more information that I felt good about.... Less than a month later I received a letter stating that the price of my policy is being raised for a no-fault accident a year prior. This really upset me because I covered this with the agent and was assured that everything would be fine...... NOT THE CASE.... I could have kept the coverage for 6 months and changed providers but I was so upset I immediately canceled coverage and took it one last time in the pants just to let them know I wasn't going to stay with a provider who would do that. -Eli

POST 6Original post

eli, if you're referring merc. my experience has been different. i've had nearly $8kin claims over th last 2-yrs and they've barely raised my premium. i go through a.i.s. i only deal w/ merc. when i've got a claim. i have no complaints w/ either them.
