Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I checked the option codes and they are standard for the suspension.
Leading evidence: 'Check option codes and they are standard' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). I even checked the spring identifying marks thinking it had the ROW suspension but it doesn’t.

Measure your height from the fender lip to the ground, using the center of the wheel as your center line.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does any know why my 99 (with stock suspension) sits lower than my friends 04 (with stock suspension)? It is actually noticeable especially between the gap between the tires and fenders, and when measured from ground to vehicle. Was something different between 99 and 04?
WOW, both of your fronts are visibly higher than my 02 with 38k miles. I wonder if something is wrong with mine..When my suspension gets warm, like at least 30 mins of driving, there is a sort of light clunking sound over smalll bumps from the front. I've had it checked out and inspected it myself, and can find nothing. Maybe my struts are bad, but it only shows when up when hot....like maybe no gas pressure and when the shock oil gets hot & frothy, it's clunking. Would explain the lower height as well...make any sense?
Yea, I plan on upgrading the wheels and tires to 18's soon. The other two vehicles sit like my friends 04. Noticeable higher than mine. Mine rides fine. Has 35 k miles. I even checked the spring identifying marks thinking it had the ROW suspension but it doesn’t.
Pmkazz, your ride height is lower than the others. While it looks better, it doesn't look normal for stock. I'd have it looked at next time it's in the shop.
Deckman,
I went through the suspension already thinking it had the ROW suspension but there was no evidence of it. I am going remove the wheels today and give it a good look over...
Measure your height from the fender lip to the ground, using the center of the wheel as your center line. Mine is stock, right about 26.5" front and rear.
Seems consistent, at least with the 99s. My friends 04 is 27. something. I am going to measure it later. Looking at the two pictures above from John Henry III - AZ and cdodkin, their vehicles seem to have much more space between the top of the tire and the fender…
I guess mine is fine.....26.5 fronts, 26.375 rears (about), on 18" Carrera II's, with Sumitomo HRZ II tires. Clunking and groaning are gone since I lubed the upper strut race seal...keeping my fingers crossed that that was it.
