I've always really liked a wide stance relative to fenders, so I've been using the GT3 wheels specs as benchmark of how far to go out.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Through the advice of this board, I am using Wheel Offset Calculator (link below!) to sanity check potential wheels. I've always really liked a wide stance relative to fenders, so I've been using the GT3 wheels specs as benchmark of how far to go out. GT3 wheel specs are 8.5" et 40 and 11" et 63. Is there any room beyond the 11" et 63 setup? One thing I am considering are replica wheels that are 10" et 47, making them 3mm further than GT3 wheels. This seems like a nice way to avoid spacers, but is that extra 3mm tempting fate? http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

It depends on the tire you mount. considering on a 10" et 65 with 15mm spacers will essentially be 10" et 50. with Pirelli P-zero 285, there is no room left though 3mm is not much... 285 might squeeze in. However anything bigger like 295 will def rub. Here is 10" et 50 with 285 on. edit:... duh, you have 11" ... 295 is good. I think your OK! The extra 3mm shouldnt add to much.

POST 3Original post

I had 10.5" 46 offset on 295 tires which is much more agggressive than GT3 specs. No rubbing issue at all.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

redridge, is that 10" et 65 with 15mm spacers? Looks like it fills out really nicely! springgeyser, you wouldn't happen to have a picture, would ya? Thanks!!!

POST 5Original post

These are the only online pics I have at the moment. Fits perfect even with 295 r888s.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What suspension are you running? I am probably going to drop mine substantially.

If they are only 3mm further out than GT3 wheels they should fit fine as long as you don't go crazy on rear tire width.
