Attention All Rennlist members and visitors X-Auto Products, a new Rennlist sponsor, is offering a Group Buy on RejeX for the discounted price of $16.09 for a 16 oz bottle, plus $2 standard shipping to ANY address!!! Yes, this includes international shipments - and we accept PayPal, Visa or MasterCard. This price is available only to forum members and visitors. In order to get this discounted price, drop us an email to [email removed] and let us know that you're interested (no credit card numbers please - we'll call you to confirm). Or, if you prefer, you can download our purchase page and fill it out, then mail or fax it to the address/fax number on the bottom of the form. Or, best of all, you can place a phone order by calling us at [phone removed]. Be sure to mention that you saw us on Rennlist to get the discount. What is Rejex, you ask? RejeX is a stain inhibitor developed for use by the military to prevent the accumulation of corrosive exhaust gases on aluminum aircraft frames. It was found to work so well that the product was slightly modified for civilian use by adding an amazing reflective ingredient that produces an outstanding, dripping-wet-looking shine that lasts for months. And, like the military formula, it's tough, durable polymer coating keeps road grime from sticking to your finish. On smooth surfaces, RejeX produces a surface so slippery that most brake dust simply blows off your wheels, bug splatters fall off your windshield with little to no effort, and tree sap & bird droppings rinse right off your paint. Imagine, no more exhaust stains corroding the rear bumpers on older cars. Spark plug shielding will rinse off and shine like new, no matter how much oil your valve covers leak. Put it on your windshield and rain blows right off. Plus, it won't etch your glass or window trim. And, X-Auto Products guarantees you'll love it, or we'll refund your purchase price. For more information about RejeX, please stop by our website at http://www.x-autoproducts.com or please call us at [phone removed]. We'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. POST 6Original post

I have a quick question if anyone can help. If we do not have a garage to protect the car for 24hrs, is it still possibler to use this product? Sounds awesome! BTW- I do not own a Porsche. Thanks for the help.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bauer you don't have to garage the car after applying RejeX. it does help but it's not required. you should however keep it out of direct sunlight. most people wash & dry the car in the late afternoon, RejeX is applied later, then the car sits overnight. the most important thing is that it isn't exposed to a bunch of gunk from driving. the first time i used it on the wife's car, i didn't wait the required time, and thought the shine was okay, but not great. however, i knew that taking it out probably was the cause for the poor performance as i'd used it on another car and was astounded at the shine - that time we gave it time to cure. the next time i used it on the wife's car, it sat in the garage about a week as we were out of town. man, the shine was far better than i had expected. try to use two light coats of RejeX instead of one heavy one. and, be sure to wipe it down really well with a soft clean cloth. please let me know if you have any other questions. thanks, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed]

POST 8Original post

Sounds great. I have a type of metallic paint on my car, but I don't think that will be a problem. If possible, I would rather use the order form and go through this on the internet rather then the phone. From the looks of everything, I will be very pleased.

POST 9Original post

I have a non-Porsche Rejex question. I have a racing bike that has aerodynmic carbon fiber wheels. Over time, they pick up dust and road gunk. I'd like to Rejex them, but I'm not sure if the petroleum distillates might cause degradation. Should I worry about that, or should I just go ahead and Rejex them?

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

acourvil GOOD QUESTION!!! RejeX on carbon fiber,,,, if the carbon fiber is coated with gelcoat or other smooth finishing agent, RejeX will be WONDERFUL. if it's not coated with a smooth finish, then don't use RejeX. there are airplane manufacturers that use carbon fiber for certain body panels. RejeX is the ONLY protectant/polish they will allow to be used on their planes. thanks for your question. i'm adding your name to the X-Auto Products bonus list. call me for details. barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

POST 11Original post

I don't know if you guys/gals have noticed but dust and grime takes on a rather strange metamorphis with RejeX applied. I find that it sort of crystalises. If you look at the muck in the sunlight it has a sort of glitter look to it. It's the dogs dangly bits this here ReeeejeX (That's how this Texan said it when I spoke to them on the phone. ReeeejeX)

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

um, i know what bull hang down is. and no, i didn't eat them. not sure i wanna discuss doggy dangly bits. nope, just wouldn't be prudent.... did i talk to you??? i'm pretty sure we exchanged some emails. just wondering.... 16oz REJEX - RENNLIST DISCOUNT $16.09 + $2 SHIPPING TO ANY ADDRESS!!!!! and i mean the non-dangling-doggy-bit formula too. thanks, barry [phone removed]

POST 13Original post

If RejeX simply reduces the amount of brake dust on my wheels, it would be worth the $17. I have used almost every product out there, and so far nothing has worked.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

sly i agree. my wife's old car (my new car) has high polished chrome wheels. before, brake dust would be nearly impossible to get off. now, there is a slight accumulation over a period of time, but it washes off without tearing up my hands or the wheels. hope to hear from you soon. barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

just a follow up to the post above, our thanks go out to all the rennlisters who've taken the time to post pictures of their cars and tell us how happy they are with RejeX. this is very much appreciated. we've repeatedly heard that being able to use only one product for paint, glass & wheels is a huge advantage over other products. not having to scrub brake dust off wheels is one of Rejex's biggest selling point. in order to show you how much we appreciate your patronage so far, X-Auto Products is annoucing that the group buy price of $16.09 plus $2 shipping to any address is being made PERMENANT for all rennlist members and visitors. we're in the process of updating our website so you will be able to purchase RejeX at the rennlist price without having to call. until then, please call us to place your order, or if you have any questions about how to use RejeX, its application methods, benefits, etc. thanks all, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

POST 16Original post

Barry, What happens if you apply it in temperatures above 85 degrees?

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Greg L. excellent question, above 85 degrees, RejeX will cure too fast and give you less than optimal results. so, for the best shine and protection, we make that recommendation. also, it the car is driven in less than 12 hours after you wipe it off, the results will be less than optimal. thanks for the note. hope to hear from you soon. barry X-Auto Products

POST 18Original post

I have one more Question. If I would do this at 5PM and let it sit until 6 AM, that would be 12-13 hours. The problem is that on some nights we have dew, that would cover the car overnight with moisture. Would this mess the results up? Thanks.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bauer while getting condensation (dew) on the car during the cure time is not optimal, it is not going to cause problems with RejeX. this is the first time this question has been posed so i don't have a reference to draw from. however, in my own testing, i applied RejeX to a car outside in a rain storm. i wanted to see what would happen if someone left some water on their car after washing it. i found that RejeX didn't spread around as easily if water is present, but i was still able to get the application done. RejeX didn't mix with the water very much, even during the application and all the wiping around to get it applied. it wasn't a perfect job, but i got it done and was satisfied with the results. i wiped it off the next day after letting it sit outside overnight. the shine was not quite as bright as an optimal application, but the durability of the product has been just as good (6 months since then without anything more than a wash and it still shines like crazy). i hope i've answered your question. please let me know if you have any specific issues or questions after your application of RejeX where dew is an issue. i'll be happy to address any situation that you have. thanks for the post. barry X-Auto Products [phone removed]

POST 20Original post

What happens if you have ArmourFist or some other type of clear film protector? My film goes 1/3 of the way up the hood! What effect will that have??

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

rdstemler very good question sir. here is the answer... RejeX has no negative effects on clear film protectants. in fact, once RejeX is applied and cured, it is clearer (more clear) than acrylic, so it won't cause any change to the film or its invisibility on your paint. RejeX will protect the film from many contaminants, and it will have the same shining result it has on un-filmed paint. btw, enstar natural gas in anchorage is a customer of ours. their fleet manager has been using RejeX, plus they're trying our corrosion inhibitors in their corrosion control program. i see you're a pilot,, CorrosionX is used extensively in aviation to control corrosion on airframes. it's a fantastic product on land-based vehicles as well. i hope i've answered your question. please call if you have a follow-up, or post again. thanks all, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

POST 23Original post

I used the RejeX; according to directions. The only problem is the car is too bright, it hurts my eyes in the sun ;-). It smells like a product I used to use (triple 3, I think). I stopped using it because, it became hard to remove. Little did I know, to use it with surface below 85 degrees. This product had silicone in it, also. A scientist I used to know - told me silicone was toxic and I shouldn't have too much skin contact. Next time I use it (6mo from now), I'll use rubber gloves. I like it; easy on - easy off........

POST 24Original post

Of course I have to chime in with a Picture.... All the cars here except the one on the far end have been RejeX'ed. For those that don't know, my car is the Gray one in the front. Love the Stuff....it's all I use. Barry, I called the 800# and got a voicemail...

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Torags yes, RejeX does produce a blinding shine. we don't accept any liability for scorched retinas however.... and, just to clarify, i can't tell from your post if you talking about silicones in the product you used to use, or if you're mentioning this because you think RejeX has silicones. just to set the record straight, RejeX has no silicone oils (free silicones) in it. therefore, it won't cause the paint contamination that other polishes cause. and, RejeX is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, and is non-irritating to skin for virtually anyone who's used it. we've never had complaints of irritation when applied without gloves. i don't wear gloves when i apply it. if you think you might have a sensitivity to petroleum distillates, then using gloves will solve any exposure problems. here's a link to the Material Safety Data Sheet for Rejex in case you haven't seen it on my site yet. http://www.x-autoproducts.com/pdf/Re..._Bulk_MSDS.pdf sorry about the blinding shine, but,,, i warned you... thanks for using RejeX. barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

POST 27Original post

I have a track car, mainly GF, but with a lot of plastic lettering and striping. Does RejeX does the job also in this environment? Cleaning it is a bitch, especially the rubber pickup. Any help here? What about respraying a car that has been treated with your product?

POST 28 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

HansB RejeX will not lift the lettering on your car (assuming it's not already coming up). it is safe to use over striping as well, and will perform the same on those surfaces as well. the rubber should not stick to the RejeX's surface. as people have mentioned, after applying RejeX, the surface is as slippery as 'nasal excrement'.... (trying to be funny). however, the only reason why rubber would accumulate is due to the heat of the particles. RejeX is good up to about 600 degrees, and i'm pretty sure that tires don't get that hot. also, you'll find that other road gunk won't stick to it as bad either, like rain, exhaust gas residue, etc. plus, the super slippery surface is problably good for a couple of tenths on each lap (less drag). we have other products that are QUITE popular with some very large racing organizations based in north carolina. call me and we can discuss. finally, Rejex contains no free silicones, so respraying is no more difficult than the ordinary paint preparation you probably already perform. having no silicones is a huge benefit over other polishes on the market. please let me know if you have additional questions. i'll be happy to run down even more detailed answers to specific situations you may have. thanks, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

POST 33Original post

When you guys apply it, do you first remove the wax, or apply the rejex over the wax? Does rejex remove the fine scratches and other imperfections, or would it be better to put polish on first and then rejex? Further, how does rejec compare to Klasse? Bobby

POST 34 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

chitownbob you don't need to remove the wax with compounds or solvents, but it's best to use a good detergent soap when washing in order to remove as much of the oils from the wax that the soap will remove. after that, you can appy the RejeX to the vehicle. some folks have waxed their car, then applied RejeX which is not recommended since wax is soft and does not have the durability of RejeX. fresh wax does not make a good foundation for RejeX to bond to. plus, RejeX has a fantastic shine so it's best to use it in place of wax altogether. RejeX compares favorably to klasse based upon the opinion of many rennlisters who've posted their opinion. ultimately, it's up to each car owner to decide which product they feel gives them the best shine and protection. RejeX has an unbelievable shine, leaves an amazingly slippery surface, plus it lasts a long time giving you a very resilient layer of protection against contaminants like acids, solvents, fuels, bug guts, exhaust residues, road grime, etc. i hope you give it a try. please call anytime. we're still offering the rennlist discount on RejeX - $16.09 per bottle and only $2 to ship all you want. thanks, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed]

ArthurK we can either ship a gallon, or the equivalent in 16 ounce bottles, which if my math isn't too rusty would be 8 bottles. with the rennlist discount, at $16.09 per bottle, that would be $128.72, plus $2 shipping. so, figure on around $130. if you want the gallon container and not the bottles, then we can probably charge you no more than if you were to go with the option above. either way, count on about $130 delivered to your door, maybe a little less. i'll need to check on the price of the shipping the gallon, but my offer stands to deliver the 8 bottles to your door for $2. thanks for your previous orders. i appreciate the repeat business a great deal. please let me know if you have any questions. please feel free to email me at: [email removed] thanks again, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com

Barry, I am blown away with the offer and will take you up on it! I will email you credit card details and shipping address. The 8 bottles is more than adequate over the gallon drum. Great product and great offering from another sponsor. Regards

Barry, In regards to RejeX, now that it is getting cold, I want to wash and RejeX my car before storing it for the winter. Is there a problem in applying the product in 30 degree weather? Is the curing process prolonged?

POST 41Original post

Barry, approximately how many full applications (whole car, wheels, etc) do you get out of an 8 oz bottle? Thanks, jeff

POST 42 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ArthurK got your email. i'll be in touch. yeechai good question regarding an application of RejeX prior to seasonal storage. RejeX can be applied as long as the temperature remains above freezing. assuming it's above 32 degrees, if the humidity is below 60%, then the cure time is unaffected. if the humidity is above 60%, then adding a couple of hours will be sufficient for it to properly cure. 42empress the answer depends upon the size of the car, but assuming it's a P-car, 8 ounces of RejeX should do the paint, glass and wheels 2 times. it's best to apply it sparingly using a semi-damp cloth in a very thin layer. i know there are owners who've done 3+ cars and still had half of a 16 ounce bottles left. thanks for the posts. please let me know if there are any additional questions. barry X-Auto Products www.x-autoproducts.com

You can REJEX the GLASS and RIMS?! AWE - SUM. I'm going to try it--I loved the results on the car.

POST 44Original post

I just had to chime-in on this comment...and this IS a true story: for my first Rejex application this past Summer, I parked my car in the garage and began my first coat of Rejex. After finishing the front bumper around sunset, several fireflies flew into the garage, lit on my bumper and immediately began to slip off. They frantically began moving their legs as fast as possible to stay on the bumper, but were unsuccessful and actually slipped-off! I was laughing so hard, I could hardly remain standing... just had to share this story...

Jeff - I applied a complete coat to my 928 and only used about 1/3 of a bottle. Yep - it works Great on glass, mirrors, and wheels.

POST 46Original post

Just bought two bottles to be shipped over here to England. Hope it copes with mud, road muck and salt. We have a horrible time keeping our cars clean. Also, what is the recommendation re 3M coatings as I am thinking about getting this on the TTS? I believe they strip wax off before applying so I guess no point putting it on under the stuff.

POST 47Original post

is this offer still open? didnt know cause the thread was started so long ago

POST 48 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

kshipp now that's funny. jasoncuk 3M makes lots of products for many purposes, so i can't make a recommendation without knowing more about your needs. however, if your paint has any oxidation, etchings or stains, then we recommend 3M's Perfect-It. it's a fine compound that will get rid of the issue, and leave the surface in good shape for the RejeX. we don't recommend applying anything on top of RejeX as it's probably not needed. penguinking yes, this offer is still going on. use the following link to get RejeX at the rennlist discount. http://www.x-autoproducts.com/pages/forumpurchase.htm thanks, barry X-Auto Products [phone removed] www.x-autoproducts.com
