Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quick wash on Sunday, snows still on in the pic, Porsche needs a spring detailing soon. Just finished putting on summer tires and removing the 4 snows till next winter, today.Going for a ride and then celebrating with my oldest son and his family for his 32nd birthday tonight. Just 55,245 miles on my odometer, and I bought my 996 in Sept. of '06 with 35,450 miles. Knock on wood, this Porsche has been as reliable as my last Porsche, a '79SC, but it's faster, roomier, more comfortable and handles better, and the ac actually works well. Soon it may be time to look ahead for my next Porsche...

POST 3Original post

looks great Steve, reminds me of mine on snow tires... they look tiny! and FWIW my a/c works (I think) - it's fast (sorta) much roomier without 2/3's of the interior in, comfort, and handles better (than I can drive)

POST 4Original post

Cool stuff... so what will be the next Porsche?

POST 6Original post

Nice Steve, enjoy the change of season. This winter sucked big time!

POST 7Original post

Isn't that a great feeling! When I took my snows off the car it was brand new all over again. Your grass needs some fertilizer.

POST 9Original post

Oh wait, Pete, never mind. I just looked at the perfect green grass in your avatar....

No worries......that pic was from last year. I fertilized last week and its has been raining every day since. The lawn is a hay field.

POST 11Original post

Looks Great Steve......what is the next baby? Will you wait for the 991's to show up before you start looking?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all. Just dethatched my lawn last week, and it does need fertilizer. Snows suck compared to summer tires, but they work well in the cold, and the Porsche is fun to drive again without them. I think I'll start searching for a 997 next, but not too soon. Another coupe, 6 spd with not too many extras, I like the plain Jane 911s, in white if I can find one.
