Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

I want to poke out my mind's eye with a pointy stick.

POST 3Original post

Wow, "pimp my ride" rejects. That white Cayenne looks like a PT Cruiser. On the other hand, those folks at X5 World only have so much room to talk. IMO, the X5 looks as if it's some type of cobbled together vengeance weapon built in the Bavarian Alps by hidden pockets of Waffen SS At least those Cayennes started out life looking graceful.

POST 4Original post

I have to give it to them - they made a fuggly car worse! I'd buy the VW version just for the better looking front-end alone. Why oh why did they ever think that they could photoshop a pair of 911 headlamps onto a big fat SUV! It's tragic - and I hate the fact that when I drive past my local Porsche dealership, all I see is rows of ugly Peppers!! Chris.

POST 8Original post

yuck. Having said that, the X5 looks like a bloated Z3.

POST 9Original post

I saw color matched rims on a couple of Rolls' and Bentley's while in Miami. White on White was one of the colors I saw.

POST 10Original post

love them both...would take them when they would give them to me...and do my own thing with them!! ...bringing to back to normal!!!

POST 11Original post

each wheel has individual hydrolics (low ride style) so hit a button and you got 20inches of right front lift and lots of + camber!!

POST 12Original post

When is this going to be on TV? Love the Cayenne hate the mods. I must say however I have seen 996s here in Germany made to look like a GT that ended up looking awful also. In short a person with too much time, too much money and poor taste, I think I lived next to them once.

POST 13Original post

I have that button in my pants. I really don't know why I wrote that.

POST 14Original post

I think I saw the white one on University Ave in Palo Alto, CA ...

POST 15Original post

The Cayenne is ugly to begin..... This takes it to another level.......

POST 16Original post

sad thing is, there are SO many around here in my neighborhood (I'll just say that a casual observer would say that Cayenne's represent more than 50% of the P-cars in the area - and they have absolutely NO respect for me in my 996 either) that I'm sure some of the soccer-dads are trying to work out how to get their hands on some of those mod pieces to show us lowly sports car freaks that thats how they roll.

POST 18Original post

BLIND poseurs with no taste. I saw the black one and thought "my god, that is the worst looking thing I've ever seen" and then I scrolled down to the white one and almost went blind myself.

POST 19Original post

I had a driver of one of those beasts pull along side me in my Carrera at an intersection recently... he sat there parallel with my rear quarterpanel, revved his engine, then proceeded to pull away at high speed and do an illegal manouver through an intersection on a red light. (imagine if you can pulling into the right turn lane, turning left to turn right - in effect going straight through a red light.) Not sure what he wanted to prove, other than that he was a jackass who deserved to get either a ticket or a traffic accident.

POST 21Original post

and all this time i thought you were just happy to see us

POST 22Original post

Wow, lots of people hate the techart cayenne on this board. The first cayenne is pretty bad, but I do like the second one. If the white one had black grills instead of white and black or silver wheels it would look much nicer. Personally I love the TA magnum kit.

POST 23Original post

With 20 inches of front lift I'm happy to see everyone.

POST 24Original post

That one's got huge air intakes ! It really reminds me of Darth Vader ... Those air grills are too large ...looks less like a car and more like a mobile AC machine ...

POST 25Original post

No one has pre-runner-ized a Cayenne yet?? I know thats a Jeep, but imagine how sexy a Cayenne would be with 10" of lift and some 33's on it with a nice push bar out front and some flared front fenders... Man that'd be the **** at Glamis!! Like that, but a porsche J

POST 26Original post

That Pepper is much nicer than the other ones, but I agree it looks like a Whale Shark.
