The OEM CD Changer on my '02 996 C2 just died. I live in AZ and the Porsche dealer thought the heat may be the cause of the early failure. Any suggestions for replacements? Thanks in advance for your help! Gary

Aftermarket - either with an in-line FM modulator or ice-link for your IPOD. Forget about CD's, they are dead. Don't have an ipod? You can get one that will hold a 1/2 lifetime of music for what a used 6 disc CD changer will cost you on e-bay. Just my 2 cents. Then you can listen to ANY song you want, and do not have to go into the bonnet to change 6 CD's. Search this forum, guys have done some great ipod installs in the ashtrays on the 996.
