If no one lives near there, maybe it just wasnt meant to be...I did run a carfax and it said there seems to have been a small accident back in 03.

Dear All, I've been looking for a 996 for a few months now. I'm located in NJ but have noticed a 2002 in NC that I am considering buying. I believe the car is in Harmony, NC. I was wondering if I could ask someone who is familiar with 911s to take a look at it for me before I commit myself further. Can anyone please help?

Yeah thanks though! I also asked Dell but he's 2-3 hrs away as well. I have no doubt if someone is nearby they would help take a look at it. So far this forum looks like it's one of the most helpful forums I've been on. If no one lives near there, maybe it just wasnt meant to be...I did run a carfax and it said there seems to have been a small accident back in 03. Labeled as "Very minor". If it was just a tap from someone who didnt keep enough pressure on the brake at a light thats fine I guess.

Sorry dude, that's in the middle of nowhere. About 2.5 hours away for me. But I know there are some members here that live in the Winston-Salem area who surely would be able to look at it for you. It just may take a few days before they check the board. Good luck! Michael
