LVDELL- do you know if the 02+ tips will not fit at all apron-wise....or will they just not "fill the space" perfectly?

Do the exhaust tips for a 2002 + Carrerra 2 fit on the 2001 and below? (Specifically 1999) Also, where to get a decent deal on some white/silver gauge faces??

The lower apron does NOT match the one on the 99-01 and therefore the tips will NOT fit. If you browse through a Tequipment catalog you will notice that various tips will say >01 (or <). There are several aftermarket companies that will make the 02+ tips for the 99-01 cars.

The cutouts are in different locales. I think I saw somebody put the flat bottom ovals but they looked odd. The fake quad tips will NOT even come close. Either have to upgrade the rear apron or go aftermarket.

My understanding is the '02+ tips aren't secured by the same clamps as the '99-'01, and you'd need extensions on the stock exhaust pipes in order to fit the '02+ tips. Am I mistaken?

I must be lucky...I have 02 turbo tips and they fit perfectly on my 99.....I got them from the guy I bought the modified turbo rear bumper from.
