Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
If Porsche c2 offset is negative offset, you're going to be running 35mm offset in the rear when you put 50mm offset wheels with a 15mm spacer.

The point of getting custom built wheels is to not have to run spacer.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just ordered a set of ForgeLine VR3P wheels from Wheel1.com
I am curently using a 15mm spacer in the back so Dave is building the backs with a 50mm offset instead of 65. so it's a wash and I wont need the spacers in the rear. I went with polished lips and anthracite powder coated centers.
VR3P
The MKII aero kit will be painted next week and hopefully installed. Dave Schardt said the wheels wouldn't be ready for 3 weeks. After I get it all installed I'll post pics.
Queenctiy, I'd like to compare the sound of my car with sport cats/stock mufflers to yours with the Fabspeeds.
I am curous, why keep the spacers? The point of getting custom built wheels is to not have to run spacer. Personally, I would go back to 65mm and remove the spacers.
If Porsche c2 wheels are positive offset, then its a wash with the 15mm spacers. Usually the deep dish wheels have positive offset.
If Porsche c2 offset is negative offset, you're going to be running 35mm offset in the rear when you put 50mm offset wheels with a 15mm spacer.
He's not keeping the spacers. He has 65mm offset wheels WITH the 15mm spacer to move the wheels out - hence the 50mm offset on the new wheels without said spacer.
Alan,
You must be looking at using narrow or stock width wheels then. I know C4S/Turbo 18x11 rear wheels with 50mm offset stick out badly on narrow body cars. With the suspension on your car, you would be rubbing with those wheels. For 10" wheels you should not have a problem, but with 11" wheels you will need the 65mm offset (or more) and no spacers for them to fit.
Bottom line is, alan's car is going to look sweet with the mkii aerokit. I'll probably get mine sometime next year after I do suspension and wheels/tires.
dallasboats, The spacers are either FVD or H&R 5/15 F/R with chrome bolts. If I decide to sell them I'll let you know
jerler, I am still working on the center cap color issue. I saw one set with polished aluminum on anthracite which was ok. Anthracite caps with silver crests is another thought.
Alan - when I was at Eric's place last week, he showed me a set of custom painted center caps. They were ordered by someone who just put black wheels on his 997. The caps were black with a silver crest. They looked AWESOME! Those cresrs really popped against the black.
