Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

41 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thought I'd start a thread to see who YOUR vote is for the most gracious, giving, time-dedicating, altruistic, generous person on Rennlist. Or just all around great guy(or gal) My vote is for Steven Cole. Steven went and did a visual PPI for me out of the kindness of his Porsche-loving heart. We forgot to discuss options on the ad, which, since I was the one spending the money, I will have to say was my responsibility. I should have said, CHECK ALL THE OPTIONS LISTED. My bad. Anyhow, he felt so bad that we missed the lack of HID's, he offered to send me clear-markers for free. Sure enough, this morning, 2 days after he said he'd send them, 2, brand new, still sealed, Genuine Porsche Clear-Side-Markers show up on my door-step. I do, however intend on paying him something. As soon as I get his email addy, I'm gonna Paypal him $25.00 That is better than half-price when you figure in shipping!!! It's acts like this that make us Porsche-freaks heads-and-shoulders above all the others. Steven, thanks again!! Gant

POST 2Original post

Arenared gets my vote. Always chimes in when I need him the most regarding DIY modifications to the suspension.

POST 4Original post

Doc Wilen (PorscheDoc)... checked my car out in KC, before me flying out there. Without Doc I wouldn't be driving my car!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Honorable mentions for Dell, RIAD, Oreganet, TomR (sarcastic bastard), blk on blk, pl, Dutchie in NC and a few others

POST 6Original post

One of the very reasons I love this board. I have sent many a free misc parts to others on the board and have had the same done in return to me. It truly is a great, altruistic community when you remove the petty bickering that we have from time to time VIVA RENNLIST!

POST 7Original post

I am, without doubt, the nicest person to grace the hallowed halls of Rennlist. I have never been known to steal flys from a blind spider.

POST 8Original post

im the nicest because i taught all your wives and girlfriends how to screw and you are all enjoying my labor

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not really sure how to respond to that so....Thanks!!!

POST 11Original post

This is not a bad place to waste lots of time and you know, overall I don't think we have any truely bad people here, despite some of our sarcastic tendancies.

POST 14Original post

Wow! Just checked in and found this thread Thanks Gant... don't deserve it but thanks This forum makes owning my car a lot more fun. Priceless!

POST 15Original post

Riad-Funny as hell one line comebacks. Food Angel, always good advice from a female prespective. Bigs, always well thought out advice.

POST 16Original post

There is unquestionably less BS and petty bickering here on Rennlist than most any other P-car board I have experienced. Actually, it is almost non-existent! And the Members moderate this board (as opposed to moderators) and to me, that is what makes the 996 List so exceptional. Keep up the good work everyone.

POST 17Original post

not me but i am inspired by some good examples i remember dell when he first joined he has always been a help and suppport also palting, capecoddon sp? thanks to all and to those i have engaged in 'spirited discussion' please forgive me if i took it too far. at the end of the day, i got your back!

POST 18Original post

Loren - great technical advice Riad - Rennlist Henny Youngman LVDell - grain of salt, but he does know what he's talking about

POST 20Original post

Nicest???? Probably Loren. Haven't seen a negative post by him to this date.

POST 21Original post

Dell has always been very helpful. Arenared went out of his way to help me solve a taillight problem with the lambo. With a very rare exception, I think everyone I've come into contact on the board is pretty great! Saved me a ton of money and aggravation. Thanks to all.

POST 22Original post

Wow! You guys are really great. I'm very humbled and appreciative of the kind words. Great community here and I hope I can help even if it's in laughter. Love, Rob EDIT: I forgot to mention Loren, who I think is very gracious with his knowledge of this great cars.

POST 23Original post

damn, do u have one min. to type all my friends/relatives names? just like they do in the acdamy rewards.

POST 24Original post

now let's go for the biggest A-hol on this board!! Me?

POST 26Original post

...well, really it's the things he puts inside it that make it so big.

POST 27Original post

Well this thread has gone to hell in a handbasket quickly.

POST 28Original post

...well, anything I get my hands on tends to do that quickly.

POST 29Original post

ok not funny as we pulled a can of hair spray (cap side up) out of someones a$$ a few weeks back!

POST 30Original post

Okay, I'm crying with laughter right now... pretty good. Just what was going through their minds to try that. ...you know, maybe only a doctor would not think that funny.

POST 31Original post

no its plenty funny my friend....the hard part is all the other docs try to crack you up so that when you walk in the room it is all you can do to keep from lol Note: to any one here thinking of putting someting in you a$$ DO NOT GET RANDOM!! just buy something ment for that purpose...preferably with a back stop... o/w you heavily increase you chances of meeting me in the middle of the night!

POST 33Original post

I find it far too difficult to pick out a single nicest person since i don't really "dislike" anyone on rennlist so i'll just nominate John D for putting up with the rest of us nutcases and give a shout out to the following: sharkey, riad, LVDell, Loren, C4S Surgeon, NJ-GT, JimB, AM993, pogobaz and the rest of the canadians i've met at the local meets.

POST 34Original post

we? you and the dungeonmaster? did the client forget the safe word?

POST 35Original post

well...I really didn't mean the A-hole the litteral way ...I guess I should have said the biggest D..k... and see what you can pull out of that and how you use it...smart asses!!

POST 38Original post

It was a hair spray can, so of course, ... <insert your own hairy *** joke here>

POST 40Original post

I was going to say that I am the nicest guy here, but I was too nice to vote for myself and decided not to post my opinion.

POST 41Original post

You guys are all great! Heck, even good ol' Bob with his insanity about engines blowing up regularly was funny as hell and seemed a genuine guy.
