DuPont actually recommend glass cleaner for the Zodiaq solid surface, which probably has the same toxicity as NXT Speed Detailer or your Black Diamond cleaner...

So I gave it a blast, same MO as on the 996, using a decent MF towel to spread the SD, and then the dry side to buff it off.

I've actualy progressed from eating/prepping my food off the counters/floors etc, and now use a plate for eating, and cutting boards for cutting.

Feel safe posting this here after the lengthy appliance post in past months... So here's the problem, black gloss finish, shows every water spot, every finger print, smears when you wipe with a damp cloth... Sound familiar? I had a revelation when the wifey was complaining about how difficult the granite kitchen counter was to keep shiny & clean.. I wondered if my NXT Speed Deatiler would work as well as it does on the 996? So I gave it a blast, same MO as on the 996, using a decent MF towel to spread the SD, and then the dry side to buff it off. Damn best looking finish these counters have ever seen! Wifey is completely sold, even loves the smell Goodbye to those nasty solid surface counter wipes Hello to NXT SD and MF Chris.

Yuck. But anyway try Black Diamond Stoneworks Cleaner it gives a great shine. It is also non toxic, unlike car products.
