Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I run 4psi lower pressures in the rear anyways to help reduce understeer, and of course the ROW 030 helps significantly.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi folks,
Been considering making the stance of my car (2000 C2 with 18" wheels) a bit more agressive.
What is the general consensus on spacers ? Do they have any negative effect on the handling of the car ?
Any advice when buying spacers ?
What are the commonly used sizes (front & back) ?
Thanks in advance for your help !
Hey Yves. There's just tons of posts already here on spacers. Just do a search 'wheel spacers' and you'll see what I mean. But quickly, Porsche has an OEM 5mm and 17mm solution. I use the 5mm all the way around. Third-party vendors have lots more.
I wouldn't mind a few more mm's up front, but 15's in the rear is definitely the max IMHO. I have some friends with 17's on the rear, but I think they are too wide. Unfortunately, I think the next size up from the 7mm is 14mm.
Perhaps itradem can post some pics of the 14's up front that we can compare to my pics of the 7mm's .......
Actually, adding track stagger as I have probably increases understeer, which is not what you want. I run 4psi lower pressures in the rear anyways to help reduce understeer, and of course the ROW 030 helps significantly.
The 14mmF/15mmR setup most likely would be better for handling than the 7mmF/15mmR setup.
pongoboz-that looks sick wish I had a widebody.
I'm dropping some new rubber and thinking about spacers. I like the sound of the 14/15 front rear set up. I'm going to have 275's on the rear and 225's on the front and hoping this set-up will put me just under plum with the fenders.
The odd thing is that I did a search for spacers and this was the closest thread to what I was looking for. Thank you yvvesatlanta for making this post, maybe we can see what more people are doing out there. What is your set-up??
