I have noticed that my 996 C2 2002 makes a slight twitch sometimes at even speed (barely noticable). Normally I don't think it twitches when I accelerate. A couple of weeks ago the car twitched a lot more at very moderate acceleration and the CEL went on but went out almost immediately again. I read the fault codes and they showed misfire on cyl 1,2 or 3 (I couldn't get more details due to the fault code reader I had). Now I have been driving the car some more but haven't had any issues. I have recently replaced the AOS and mounted a 997 GT3 throttle house and "T-pipe". Any suggestions what it is? Robert

I just changed all plugs and coil packs and what a difference! Sometimes those subtle little feelings that are hard to explain (like twitchiness) seem to all clear up with new plugs. Pete

Is the "twitching" always happening at the same RPM? Variocam issue?
