Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am a new 996 Cab owner and am considering a cover. It would be for outside use to keep bird crap and tree sap off mainly. Will likely use during its winter storage too. Im not worried about fancy, just keeping crap off the paint and roof, with easy on and off installation.
Any suggestions or recommendations appreciated.
Covercraft. Their web page is info overload for anything related to car covers. IMO this is a great chart...

I like California Car Cover's "Stormweave" covers

You might also consider a "Tonneau" cover like this. It is small to pack, goes on in less than a minute, keeps the interior cool when you leave it in the sun and deflects leaves, bird poop etc... It also helps keep crows from flying off with any shiny things that might be in sight.

California Car Covers all the way. I have one on both of my cars. They sit outside since I don't have a garage, and the cover does a fantastic job. Pull it off, even after a storm and the car is spotless and dry underneath. Well worth the premium price tag.
These are the "Future" outdoor car covers that we sell.
Tailor made for the 996 by the same company that makes the Tequipment covers.
These come in grey or satin black.
