Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would anyone here happen to know the factory spec for the Porsche text on the calipers? I have a 99 where the calipers were previously refinished....incorrectly. Im now trying to get that fixed up. Thanks all.

5mm x 75mm. The ones they sell aren't the same size as the real ones.

Thanks!

POST 5Original post

If you find a source for ones that are correct please let us know as mine must have been repainted at some point too.

POST 6Original post

+1 for the Acromann stickers. They have the correct sizes (or pretty darn close) and have held up well on the 3 sets of calipers I have used them on...even with heavy track use and alot of heat.

There's a Rennlist member who used to sell on here but has migrated to a Cayenne Facebook group. I've not previously used them as I only now just placed an order. $22 shipped for 4 high temp decals and a few spares for trial and error. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. Don't shoot the messenger.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/1628490004068635/

POST 8Original post

I actually already ordered a set from this guy https://www.ebay.com/itm/161448743975 I messaged him and he is going to make me a set, I found him on an old post somewhere. $6 for 6.

Dunno. The Cayenne group guy claims his turn into a substance similar to enamel once theyve been heated by the brakes.

POST 15Original post

Anyone have an US based recommendations? I went with Acromann at first based off a recommendation and it wasn't cheap, and then I found out it would be several weeks until I would get these because they are on Hong Kong. The Car Decals website looked good until I saw they are in Israel and it will be 1- 12 weeks delivery ( and we know it will be closer to 12).
