True. I know they were recently parting a 996 cab, but I think the windshield was toast in that one. Anyway, they might be able to pass you along to someone. Worth reaching out. If you end up shipping from the US, I have had outstanding luck with freightquote.com. My sport seats shipped door to door for about $360, including brokerage etc. A fraction of what others were quoting me. Good luck!

When I had to replace mine here in Calgary, I had every high-end glass shop in town (and I mean every) canvass glass options for my 996, and the bottom line is you will need to do OEM / St. Gobain. Mine cost about $1,100 - which sucks, given that I can change the one in the wife's minivan for about $200 all in. I just can't imagine that you'll save much by bringing in an aftermarket one from the states, but I hope I'm wrong. GL!

i was quoted the same this morning from my dealer $1105 Plus 13% tax = $1250 Installed... Glass is $810 + Labour... Same factory glass @ Suncost is $450... According to my calculations it will be close to $800-850 installed by the time i bring it here... so yea ill save and feel good about it... and ill save more if someone can hook me up here with a Used Glass
