I want to run LED turn signals, at least in the front. I've purchased my interior LED lights at superbrightleds.com. The website says I might need a load for a flashing light. Anyone have success running LED flashing bulbs? Do I need a load resistor? Thanks

need some kind of load to equal the original bulb or else you could get a rapid flash and a CEL light telling you there is a bulb out. Happened on my M3

I believe another option is to change out the flasher for one that works with LED's.

Remember the LED has a comparatively narrow and sharply defined cone of light. So be sure to choose so there is at least the same field of view as the OEM bulb. Had this problem with LED brake light retrofit. Blindingly bright(good!) from directly behind. Rear 3/4 view was not eye catching in bright sunlight. Just an issue to resolve.

Just get the LED flasher - it covers all LED's in your car from tail lights to signals - any light flashing is the issue - without it you get the hyper flashing. The load resistors create heat - very inefficient way to solve a problem. https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...asher/785/839/
